Talk and/or Play Therapy for Adults

Service Description

Counseling through play provides a safe way for adults to address and resolve the problems they may have experienced in childhood to begin to find and build new coping skills and alternate solutions for issues that are current. Counseling through play differs from regular play because the counselor works to help express his/her thoughts and emotions and promote positive solutions. Play for adults can still function at the developmental level, and by doing so it serves as a natural and comfortable way to communicate.
